Abstract

This journal reviews digital health tools designed to support adolescent mental wellness in Nigeria, highlighting mobile counseling, telepsychiatry, and school-based digital interventions.

## Background Adolescent mental health is a growing concern in Nigeria. Digital health innovations offer new opportunities to expand access to mental wellness support for young people, especially where traditional services are limited. ## Innovations This review covers mobile-based counseling, telehealth clinics, school wellness apps, and social media campaigns aimed at helping adolescents manage stress, anxiety, and depression. ## Implementation Issues Challenges include internet access, provider training, privacy protections, and cultural stigma. The journal explores how partnerships between health providers, schools, and the tech sector can address these barriers. ## Conclusion Digital health can complement existing mental health services when it is designed with young people in mind, backed by strong data privacy safeguards, and integrated into broader adolescent health programs.
